Friends, Temple Misionaries and Young Performing Missionaries

On Monday we had dinner with David and Brianna Brown (with their daughter Mia.  David's daughter Kaitlyn was also with them).  We had a wonderful visit with them.  They were so thoughtful to let us know that they were going to be in Nauvoo.

Below is a photo of all of the Temple Missionaries, Temple Presidency (including their wives - the Matrons), Recorders and Office Staff) currently serving in the Nauvoo Temple.  We love them and have gotten to know all of them pretty well during our service here.

The Young Performing Missionaries left Nauvoo today.  They have been here since May, doing many performances every day (including doing at least 6 during most of July).  They are so talented and you could feel their love and testimony of the Gospel (and the Savior) through their actions.  They were very kind and friendly.  It was a joy to see them frequently during the past 3 months.  Below are some photos of them.

At the beginning of the Trail of Hope.  The Young Performing Missionaries would recite (or sing) some of the messages from the pioneers who crossed the trail to the west.

At the end of the last performance of "The Love of the Savior" by the Young Performing Missionaries (which include the younger people on the stage and the orchestra members).
